All After Leather products are made from veg tan leather.  Vegetable tanning is a long and intricate process that uses natural tannins (bark extracts, leaves, fruits, roots), instead of chemicals, to tan the leather.  This is the most traditional method and has been in practice for thousands of years.  The technique is not only better for the environment but gives a unique quality to the leather itself.  Veg tanned leather is thicker than chrome and chrome-free, making it more durable and allowing it to maintain its shape.   The best attribute to veg-tanned leather is that it develops a rich, luxurious patina over time, making it a standout against other leather products.  After Leather is dedicated to providing customers with products that will become more impressive with time and use.

Packaging

After Leather takes care and pride not only in its products but in packaging your items as well.  Each item is inspected prior to packaging and sealed with an AL label.  Nestled inside the box you will find your item secured in either a velvet or satin drawstring bag.  Included with your product will be a card identifying and describing the purchased item.  We value our customers’ privacy, so all our products are shipped and delivered in discreet packaging.  Only the AL logo and our address are visible on the boxes.
